Baja California Sur Locals

The California sea lions (Zalophus californianus) are one of seven (one extinct - Japanese sea lion) species of sea lions.
They range along the western coast and islands of North America, from southeast Alaska to Central Mexico.
While they could seem a little bit clumsy outside the water, their foreflippers and huge flexibility of their spine make them one of the most hydrodynamic marine mammals. They can dive at depths of almost 280 meters and reach considerable speeds.
